Version 1.0, draft for legal review Last updated: 27 August 2026
These terms (the "Terms") govern the use of the Gentells website and the Gentells services.
You accept these Terms and agree to comply with them when you create an account, subscribe to a paid plan, subscribe to the newsletter, or otherwise use the site. If you do not accept every part of these Terms, do not use the site or the services.
1. Definitions
Gentells: the youth culture intelligence product operated by Trendwolves NV, with registered office at Vlasgaardstraat 52, 9000 Ghent, Belgium, company number 0882.982.288, VAT number BE 0882.982.288, registered with the Crossroads Bank for Enterprises. "We", "us" and "our" refer to Trendwolves NV.
Site: the domain gentells.com, all its subdomains, and any other resource through which the services are made available.
Services: the Gentells platform, including the signal feed, posts, reports, Opportunities sections, newsletters, account management and any related features we make available.
Content: everything we publish through the services, including signals, posts, reports, insight cards, illustrations, data visualisations and newsletters.
Account: the personal, name-based access we assign to an individual user.
User: an individual who uses the services under an account, whether free or paid.
Subscriber: the individual or organisation responsible for paying for a plan.
Plan: one of the subscription levels described in article 4.
Subscription Period: the period for which a plan has been paid, starting from the date the order is confirmed.
2. Who may use the services
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding agreement.
If you register on behalf of an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to accept these Terms on its behalf and that the organisation is bound by them.
The services are aimed at professional users. Where you use the services as a consumer rather than in a professional capacity, the mandatory consumer provisions of Belgian and European law apply in addition to these Terms.
3. Accounts and named access
Access to Gentells is personal and name-based. Each account belongs to one named individual.
You may not share, transfer, sell or otherwise make your login credentials available to anyone else, inside or outside your organisation. You are responsible for everything that happens under your account.
You agree to provide accurate and complete registration details, to keep them up to date, to keep your password confidential, and to tell us without delay if you believe someone else has gained access to your account.
We may suspend an account when we have reasonable grounds to believe that credentials are being shared, that access is being resold, or that the account is being used to extract content in bulk.
4. Plans and what they include
| Plan | Price | Access |
|---|---|---|
| Explore | Free | The most recent posts and the Gen Tells This Week newsletter. Opportunities sections are not included. |
| Signal | EUR 14.99 per month, one named user | The full archive of posts and signals, including Opportunities sections. |
| Decode | EUR 299 per month per named user, or EUR 2,990 per year per named user, up to four named users per organisation | Everything in Signal, plus all reports. |
| Intelligence | EUR 1,499 per month, invoiced quarterly, minimum term of twelve months, up to ten named users per organisation | Everything in Decode, plus quarterly Chosen Category Intelligence. |
Where an organisation needs more than four named users on Decode, it moves to Intelligence.
Prices are stated exclusive of VAT unless indicated otherwise. VAT is applied according to your status and your place of establishment. Business customers established in an EU member state other than Belgium and holding a valid VAT number may be invoiced under the reverse charge mechanism.
Free access is provided as it is. We may change what the free plan contains at any time.
We may add features to the services or remove them at our discretion. We will not materially reduce the core of a paid plan during a Subscription Period without offering you the choice to terminate.
5. Payment, renewal and cancellation
Payment is made through the payment methods offered on the site. No other method is accepted.
Subscriptions run for the Subscription Period stated at checkout and renew automatically for the same period unless cancelled before the renewal date.
You can cancel at any time by contacting us at info@trendwolves.com. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current Subscription Period. Access continues until that date. We do not refund the unused part of a period that has started, except where mandatory law requires it.
Intelligence subscriptions run for a minimum term of twelve months and are invoiced quarterly. They renew for successive twelve month terms unless cancelled at least thirty days before the renewal date.
A named place within a plan can be transferred to another individual in the same organisation at no cost, by contacting us.
Prices may change. Price changes are published on the site and take effect for you at the start of your next Subscription Period. We will notify you by email at least thirty days before a price change applies to your subscription.
If a payment fails, we may suspend access until payment is completed.
6. Right of withdrawal for consumers
If you subscribe as a consumer, you have fourteen days from the conclusion of the contract to withdraw without giving a reason.
Because access to the paid content is granted immediately, you will be asked at checkout to give your express consent to immediate performance and to acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once access has been granted. If you do not give that consent, access begins after the fourteen day period has passed.
To withdraw, send an unambiguous statement to info@trendwolves.com.
This article does not apply to professional users.
7. What you may do with Gentells content
This article matters, because the services are built to be used inside your work.
As a paid user, you may:
- read, download and store content for your own professional use
- reuse limited extracts of a post, signal or report, including a deck-ready insight card, inside internal presentations, strategy documents and client presentations produced by you or your organisation
- do so on the condition that Gentells is credited visibly as the source, and that no more than a reasonable extract is used relative to your own work
As a free user, you may read and share the public posts by linking to them. You may not reproduce them in full elsewhere.
You may not, on any plan:
- republish, resell, syndicate or distribute our content as a product or as part of a product
- share reports, exports or archive content with people outside your organisation, or with colleagues who do not hold their own account
- remove or obscure attribution, watermarks or source references
- use our content to train, fine tune or evaluate an artificial intelligence model, or to build a competing dataset or intelligence product
- systematically scrape, crawl, mirror or bulk extract the site or the archive by automated means
- bypass, disable or circumvent a paywall, a blurred section or any other access restriction
Nothing in this article transfers ownership. It grants a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right of use that ends when your subscription ends, except for materials you have already legitimately incorporated into work delivered before that date.
8. Our intellectual property
The site, the services, the content, the underlying methodology and the software are our exclusive property or that of our licensors, and are protected by Belgian, European and international law.
"Trendwolves", "Gentells", "Generation ZAlpha" and "ZAlpha" are our trademarks. Other trademarks appearing on the site belong to their respective owners.
9. Third party content and links
Our content refers to real companies, creators, retailers and platforms, and may embed or link to material published on third party platforms. That material belongs to its owners, is not under our control, and is used for reference and commentary.
If you want to reuse third party material that appears in our content, it is your responsibility to check the rights and licences of the owner. Our permission in article 7 covers our own work only.
Links to external websites are provided for reference. We are not responsible for their content or availability.
Where a feature of the services relies on a third party platform, your use of that feature is also subject to that platform's terms.
10. Nature of the services
Gentells is editorial intelligence. We observe signals, read patterns, and set out what we believe they mean and where they are heading.
What we publish is interpretation, not measurement, and not advice. Momentum indicators express the spread of a signal across unconnected sources, regions and subcultures within a time window. They are not behavioural measurements, audience figures or forecasts of commercial performance.
Sections marked as Opportunities describe things that do not yet exist. They are propositions, not validated business plans. Anything invented is marked as a concept and is never presented as an existing business.
Decisions you take on the basis of our content remain yours. We give no guarantee of commercial result.
11. Availability and support
We take reasonable care to keep the site available and the services functioning, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error free availability.
We are not responsible for failures caused by your own equipment or connection, by internet or telecom providers, by unauthorised access to our systems by a third party, or by any event beyond our reasonable control.
Support requests go to info@trendwolves.com. We aim to respond within two working days.
12. Your obligations
When using the site and the services, you agree not to:
- conceal or misrepresent your identity
- interfere with, interrupt, damage or overload the services, the servers or the connected network, or breach security measures
- breach applicable law, whether in Belgium, in the country where you are located, or otherwise applicable to your activities
- send unsolicited commercial email using our content or our name
- present yourself as us, or as connected to us, without our written agreement
- manipulate identifiers or headers in order to disguise the origin of anything transmitted through the services
13. Personal data
We process personal data in accordance with the GDPR and Belgian data protection law. How we do so is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The newsletter operates on double opt-in. You can unsubscribe at any time through the link in every mailing.
You acknowledge that we store registration data, profile data and usage logs, that we use usage data to operate and improve the services, that we may use aggregated and anonymised statistics derived from usage, and that we may disclose personal data where the law or a competent authority requires it.
14. Changes to these Terms and to the services
We may amend these Terms. We will publish the amended version on the site and notify subscribers by email at least thirty days before it takes effect.
If you do not accept an amendment, you may terminate your subscription before it takes effect. Continuing to use the services after that date means you accept the amended Terms.
Where there is good cause, for example a security issue, a legal requirement or an order from a competent authority, we may amend, suspend or restrict the services without prior notice.
15. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate an account with immediate effect if you breach article 3, article 7 or article 12.
Where a breach is capable of being remedied and no serious harm is at stake, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to remedy it first.
On termination for breach, no refund is due.
16. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes our liability for fraud, for intentional fault, for gross negligence, for death or personal injury, or for any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, and to the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit, loss of contracts, business interruption, loss of opportunity, or loss or corruption of data.
Our total liability arising out of or in connection with the services is limited to the amount you paid for the services during the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Where you use the services as a consumer, this article applies only to the extent permitted by mandatory consumer law.
17. Indemnity
You will hold us, our representatives, directors, employees and affiliated companies harmless against any third party claim, including reasonable legal costs, arising from your use of the services in breach of these Terms, or from your reuse of third party material that appears in our content.
18. General
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights and obligations under them without our prior written consent.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, replace any earlier agreement between us on the same subject.
Notices. Notices to us go to info@trendwolves.com or to our registered office. Notices to you are sent to the email address linked to your account or published in your account area. Given the nature of email, we cannot guarantee delivery of every message.
Tolerance. If we do not enforce a provision of these Terms, or do not exercise a right, we do not waive that provision or right.
Severability. If a provision of these Terms is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in force and the invalid provision is replaced by a valid one that comes closest to its intended effect.
Governing law and jurisdiction. These Terms are governed by Belgian law. If you are a consumer, you may bring proceedings before the courts designated by mandatory consumer law. If you are not a consumer, the courts of Ghent, division Ghent, have exclusive jurisdiction.
End of terms.
